Ann Roberta Brancucio, founder and Artistic Director of Swan Conservatory of Dance, has over 30 years of teaching Classical Ballet and Modern Dance.  She studied at Connecticut Ballet in New Haven, Ct with Robert Vickrey and Robin Welch, with Lisa Denaro and in various NYC schools.  She has performed with companies in NYC and CT.  Trained in Modern Dance with Gayle Ziak, Chris Komer, Emmy Devine, Mel Wong, Jennifer Muller, Young Soon Kim, Laura Young and Matthew Diamond. Her professional teaching career includes Connecticut Dance, New England Ballet, where she was s soloist and ballet mistress, and various other schools.  Substitute taught at the New Ballet School.  She trained in figure skating with Michael Sklutovsky and has worked extensively with figure skaters in Cromwell, Darien and Terry Conners Skating Rink.  She worked in the finance Connecticut departments at Dance, Pentacle/Danceworks, Second Stage Theatre and Feld Ballets NY.  Ann holds a BA in Economics with a minor in accounting.
